Dr. M. G. Quibria is a Professor of Economics at the Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He did his B.A and M.A in Economics from University of Dhaka and his M.A and PhD in Economics from Princeton University. He has also done his Post-Doctoral Studies in Economics from Nuffield College, University of Oxford. He is the author of more than 70 articles in professional economics/development journals and an editor, co-editor and author of a number of scholarly volumes. He was a Visiting Fulbright Associate Professor at Boston University, Graduate School and was also a Lecturer, Assistant and Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently he is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Asian Economics and is also a Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Accounting and Finance. He was a Senior Advisor at the Asian Development Bank Institute and is now a Director of Boston Center for Development and Environment.
